A portrait of the late World Health Organisation (WHO) physician, Carlo Urbani of Italy, is seen at the entrance to a memorial service attended by United Nations staff in Hanoi, 08 April 2003. Urbani, who was the first to identify the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) virus in Hanoi, died in Thailand 29 March of the respiratory illness.
