Bargua Mechergui Saidani Bargua and her children live in Senjane. She is a pottery artist, working the clay to make variety of pottery (here: a camel and a cat). She needs to go to the mountain and carry back sufficient quantities of clay and wood to produce her pottery (including bringing water from the water source). However she has no place to sell it unless someone comes to her house. There are no local markets and the main road is too far. (Photo: Arne Hoel)
